Guess my mom got me hooked on crafts back when I was a child.  We were always making dough ornaments, cross-stitching, drawing.... things that I have continued doing throughout my life.  As I got older I developed a real appreciation for art and for handmade products.  After becoming a mom, I wanted to do something from home that could be done with my children and work around my family's life.  Sweet Whimsy is that answer.  Not only do I get to create fun, whimsical things, but I get to make a living doing something I'm passionate about!  Occasionally my 9 year old daughter helps with painting items and choosing colors and I love being able to spend time creating with her too!  Recently, she's also become a model for some of my pendants too!
